ALPHIE

I think it may have been love at first sight. Like, 4 years ago (FOUR! already?!). But that's how love stories go. they evolve. and change. but this one has certainly stayed consistent. even intensified. it's all over stationary.

I met April 4 years ago studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. She creates IN.CRED.IBLE. cards. And she's just launched a new brand, ALPHIE, which I've pronounced as something you must have.

Yes, It's the Olsen Twins

I actually really like the Olsen twins. I always forget about them and then when I see them I re-realize how amazing they are. As businesswomen and as fashionistas. They are also lucky enough to be able to wear just about anything to work, which I'm really jealous of right now as it's ending the summer and I'm sick of work clothes and no time to get creative and wear whatever I want.

I came across this new blog: Olsens Anonymous which is basically pictures of them in sweet outfits (and a fantastic dose of accessories). I lOVE it. Check out my favorite look (so far) below. I already know exactly what shoes and T-shirts etc. I'm going to use to re-create this look asap. Another reason I like this is because her jeans fit so perfectly. You can see from the hem that she's had them altered, which people never do to jeans, but really is a good idea. Especially if you're short like the Olsen's. Makes me wonder if she's taylored them to get them to fit SO wonderfully, which, as we all know, makes any look.

This type of look is what I strive for in summer. Sort of chic, classy, eclectic. Sometimes I'm not sure it turns out that way (I am a law student and automatically prone to suiting), but at least I'm having fun trying to get to create the outfit! I'm about to run errands so I'm going to attempt to create a similar look. I'll let you know how it goes!

Booties or Boots or Whatever I can Get

I think I'm ready for fall. My tan is about as good as it's going to get (which admittedly, is fairly poor), and the 95+ degree weather is making me wilt. Also I want to wear boots. I want some Frye boots. The Godfather of boots. So here a few (or a lot?) of my favorites.

HUGE SALE! I stopped by on Tuesday to purchase the rings below I'd seen online. They didn't have them, but Banana IS having an EPIC sale. Cardigans for $15. Belt for $15. Non-Iron shirt for work for $30. Go. Especially if you need office-wear.
